Tareq Farhan - Executive Director

Working with key players in the public and private sectors for more than 10 years, Tareq has obtained a wide experience in investment management and business development fields. In 2007, and for more than three years, he managed the daily operations of an investment directorate and its components in a publicly listed company in Jordan. Tareq has also managed various investment transactions and joint ventures in both; financial and operational fields. He also worked on establishing a complete setup for a USD 90 million offshore closed-ended fund in the real-estate sector. Prior to that, in 2003, he joined the Jordan National Competitiveness Team were he was responsible for various national cluster and economic studies in addition to monitoring global economic ranking reports and institutions. Tareq started his career at the Jordan Investment Board (JIB) as promotion officer covering various investment opportunities in the ICT sector. Later on, he joined the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), were he conducted several business appraisals, managed business negotiations and facilitated a number of joint ventures between Jordanian investors and European counterparts. Tareq holds a B.A degree in Business Administration and an MBA honor degree from Oxford Brookes University –UK.
